This week is National Reconciliation week.
“Be Brave, Make Change,” is the theme and Artbank has invited Dennis Golding, Kamilaroi/Gamilaraay artist, curator and collaborator to curate our window gallery.
Dennis’s own work features in the window – ‘Empowering Identity,’ it is a strong and important work that encourages and embodies this theme.
Artbank acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and would like to thank the many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Artists whose important artworks bring such strength and richness to the Artbank collection.
This week we hope you can all take a moment to think about the brave story tellers who have, and still are pushing change in our country.
