Restoration of Sydney Ball Painting Absaroka Light (1973) by ICS

We are incredibly thankful to our partners International Conservation Services (ICS) for their work conserving Sydney Ball’s painting Absaroka Light (1973) with assistance of students from the Grimwade Centre for Cultural Materials Conservation at the University of Melbourne. This important preventive conservation project was made possible through the support of ICS as part of our partnership.

Artbank was also fortunate to recently host an ICS talk on contemporary art conservation in our collection store as part of Sydney Contemporary. Presented by ICS Conservation Manager Adam Godjin the talk proved hugely popular and provided an insight into the world of contemporary art conservation and the expertise of the ICS team.
