Senior Art Consultant
Sarah Rawlings joined Artbank in 2017. Formerly Arts and Culture Manager for Barangaroo Delivery Authority and the City of Canada Bay Council, Sarah has been responsible for the strategic planning, policy development and project management of public art and cultural programs and heritage assets. Sarah has provided consultancy and curatorial services for private, corporate and government clients including the City of Sydney Council’s ‘Art and About’ program and has delivered over sixty public artworks, cultural programs and exhibitions. In 2011, Sarah conceived and coordinated a cultural heritage project that won a federal government award for innovation. Sarah has a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the University of Sydney, studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Arts and in 2004 was selected for the Critical Studies program run through the Rooseum Institute and Malmo Art Academy in Sweden.
At Artbank, Sarah manages the team of Art Consultants in Sydney and is focused on client engagement and business development. Sarah’s drive to connect artists with new audience, allowing artworks to foster moments of contemplation and conversation across public and private spaces, continues to inspire her career-long interest in contemporary Australian arts.
