Curator and Collection Coordinator
Lucy joined the Artbank team in 2017. Previously, she worked at the Museum of Contemporary Art as the Conservator, where she contributed to the exhibitions program and the care of the collection. Lucy also worked at Museums Victoria in various roles, most notably, coordinating and managing a team undertaking the second largest collection relocation in the Museum’s history.
Lucy has a background in photography, completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts Photography at RMIT University in Melbourne. As part of her degree, she also studied Fine Art at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts à la Villa Arson in Nice, France. Lucy then went on to complete a Masters of Cultural Materials Conservation at the University of Melbourne. In 2013 Lucy undertook as Fellowship in Organic Materials Conservation at the Art Gallery of New South Wales working with artworks from the Papua New Guinea Highlands.
At Artbank, Lucy works collaboratively across the Curatorial and Registration teams, in the administration and management of the Artbank collection. Undertaking research on the Artbank collection for curatorial and client purposes, Lucy also contributes to the exhibition programming and the accessioning of new works, in support of Artbank’s core objectives.
