Assistant Director – Operations
Lauren joined the Artbank team in 2007. Starting her career in the performing arts sector, Lauren trained professionally as a ballerina and dance teacher. Having studied events management, Lauren has worked in a range of corporate capacities for clients such as Coles Group, Optus and Johnson & Johnson before accepting a temporary role as the Artbank receptionist in 2007, which led to permanent employment the following year. Lauren has been responsible for multiple roles at Artbank covering reception, office administration, accounts and finance areas.
As the Assistant Director – Operations, Lauren has attended professional development programs in public sector leadership and management which together with her experience and knowledge of the organisation has given her the skills to oversee and manage the administrative and governance functions of Artbank, leading the administration team to provide excellence in finance and accounts management, client management, human resources, office administration and IT whilst ensuring compliance with whole of government requirements.
